Photo Release
for photography in public
If I'm shooting at your event, I ask that appropriate steps have been taken to let attendees know that I'll be there. Attendees must have an option to opt out of their photos being published, which can be discussed in more detail at a later date. We don't want your attendees to feel uncomfortable with my presence.
Tip Jar
DOEs Free really mean free?
As part of the service, I will publish your photos to an online gallery (password protection available as applicable). As the event organiser, you will have the ability to download the entire album in one go. Your attendees will also be able to view and download any photos of the day that they wish. I do provide a completely no-obligation online tip jar link, this helps cover my hosting costs and equipment upgrades over time.
FAQ
Photo delivery
I pride myself on a quick turnaround of your images, I will aim for 1-2 days. Any delays to this will be fully transparent and some 'hero' shots will be available within 24 hours if delays are expected. The number of photos you'll receive is difficult to predict, but I aim to capture a full story of the day through images.
Costs
I don't charge to attend your event, photography is a hobby of mine and I want to keep it that way. This means that I will attend your event for free (covering of significant expenses may be discussed at the time of booking), and I will provide the photos for free. I love photography, I love new experiences, meeting new people and hearing new stories. The 'no obligation tip jar', is the only way that I would ask for your support.
Photo crediting and licensing
I do not ask for credit or 'tagging' if you post images online - That's not to say it wouldn't be appreciated. I offer these photos for any reasonable use, personal or otherwise. It is expected that social media posting is done with respect to others that may be in the photo.
Social media policy
I am present on Instagram and Facebook only. Each simply act as a signpost to this website. This is a personal choice, I'd rather spend my time making real connections, taking photos and editing them for you. So, you won't see your images posted on my accounts.
